Penny & Rick Welch, have been in the blind industry for about 26 years each, mostly in Sydney. We have been down here in Bega for 8 years now and opened Bega Blinds & Awnings, four and a half years ago.

In that time, we have worked tirelessly to build, a one stop shop for everything you will need for your new home, or renovation. 

We realized that you could buy blinds and awnings down here, but there was not many of the newer indoor and outdoor window treatments available. So we set out the get the exclusive agencies for the following: Phantom Retractable Screens, Oz Roll Roller Shutters, Trellis Security Doors and Freedom Pleated Screens. All these products are constant sellers, so we kept looking for other products that we could introduce the expand the business.

We found the best product, Ziptrak, which is taking the outdoor awning world by storm. We sell so many of these Ziptraks, that we obtained the rights to manufacture them for the wholesale market, which we are now doing through out NSW and they are really taking off extremely well for us. We are also wholesaling the fantastic Clearshield Security Doors and Grills.

Now we need a rest, we have put all our expertise and heart into building up the business and really need slow down and enjoy everything that the Far South Coast has to offer.
